Hello,
These are my first two monotubs. Prior to this, I’ve been doing pf tek for years. The one on the left I started the morning of 11/24. The one on the right I started the morning of 11/25. Looks like I have 4 or 5 more days to go before fruiting. Do these look ok to you all? The one on the right looks a little cotton ballish. Curious your thoughts? They ok? More fae maybe? Any contams? Thanks!

Look okay but maybe on the dryer side? Hard to tell but typically takes 12 days until pins

Someone else on another board mentioned careful w overlay, which I’m not very familiar with. I’ll look more into that.
Interesting on the holes. I looked up several methods and a lot of them had 2 inch holes w polyfil. I’ll check out other methods. Maybe I should remove some polyfil for better air flow.
Appreciate the input !!!

Cubes pretty much don’t overlay
Quote:
RogerRabbit said: Overlay is bullshit and most of it relates to a picture of a normal casing layer in TMC that is incorrectly labeled as overlay.
A few months ago, I 'jokingly' said I'd ban the next person who asked an overlay question and it worked . . .until now.
What happens is one person asks about overlay, and for the next six months, every new grower thinks he has overlay.
I can guarantee you don't have it, since I've only seen it a handful of times, and I've been known to have grown a few projects in my day. Full colonization of the casing layer is not overlay. Give lots of fresh air and light, while misting a few times daily and you'll fruit soon. RR
Also, if you’re having difficulties with dry conditions, the last thing you want is more airflow

I didn’t realize it was too dry. One of them looks dryer than the other. Would you suggest listing? I am holding off from pulling the polyfil out or fanning.

Some updated pictures. Looks like they look about the same. If you see any contams or anything I should do, let me know. Looks like not too far from fruiting
