What's your favourite seafood?
mine is sushi hands down, salmon is probably my favourite and tuna is a close second. Octopus and surf clam are rally good too, I usually just order those as sashimi.
I think calamari is overhyped. Ive had some good squid but everyone seems to deep fry it everywhere I go, I dont really care for that. Octopus is where its at. I had this baby octopus sushi once where it was just the whole octopui (really tiny) on some sushi and it was so good. great texture. It was the same restaurant that had the really good calamari. Sadly they sold the place and the new owner is amazing too but doesnt have all the exact same menu options.
Shrimp is my favourite shellfish hands down. the little ones are the best imo, but some nice long shrimp tempura is good too.
Fish n chips and muscles are an honorable mention.

Sushi is my favorite food, no contest! I've always loved all seafood, however; I have a bias lol. I grew up on the ocean just outside of Boston, so I have a huge bias!
Lobster, shellfish, haddock, cod, salmon, eel, clams, steamers, etc; you name it!

I love smoked salmon, the price is crazy though. Same with sushi I guess. Shrimp are really good in a lot of dishes. Crab and lobster is great if it's already deshelled and in a roll, otherwise it's way too much effort.

I'd have to say Scallops. Ceviche, and softshell crab are up there. Mussels and clams, too.
Really wanna try octopus...

I don't have much experience with seafood and I don't eat sea food very often, but I love shrimp. There's this deli I used to go to for lunch that had these fish fillets that were delicious, but I'm not sure what kind of fish they were.

Sushi can get boring if you over eat it, me thinks.
Best seafood I think is like various grilled or sauteed fishes in olive oil with the crispy skin on the bottom with all kinds of herbs n spices
Best fish ever probably salmon

Indeed. You're missing out if you've never had scallops.

There are very few seafoods I don't like.
I especially love Maryland crabs, crab legs, and Sushi and Sashimi. There's something about cooking a freshly caught fish on a fire that is pretty special too, Trout would be my favorite. Oh, and crawfish, especially so from Southern Texas, are really unique and incredible.

Has anyone ever had Langoustines/Norway Lobster? They're supposed to have flavor like a lobster or crab, but with a texture more like shrimp. I hear they're pretty fancy....
Razor clams, and geoduck would be neat to try, too...

Salmon and tilapia are the only seafood I keep in the house
Don’t really like crustaceans, they always remind me of this

Kinda wanna try barnacles just so I can say I did though

The stereotypical deep-friend crumbed calamari I do like.
Some good shrimp is always a treat

swordfish is the dish that opened my eyes to how good seafood can be. i don't know if it's my favorite anymore, but it's the most impactful seafood i've ever had.

They taste like shrimp and are just small lobsters, not very fancy imo but being from cold clean water they don't taste fishy which is good.

That's disappointing to hear. I guess i just watch too many TV food shows. That's the only reason I said fancy, I usually see them being served in fancy places.
