These pictures were taken a few days apart. It seems like it stalled out a bit. What could I be doing wrong to cause that? Lack of FAE?

What variation are they? Some are known to do things like this. Might be nothing and just a normal thing happening.

I can tell, this is your first flush, and those are aborted. You can tall by the darkened caps and the fact that they stopped growing.
Allt of varieties will put out a first flush of aborts
The best thing you can do, done it myself is steriloze.your hands and "wipe" them.off, I get thousands of them so ill just kinda wipe my hand across the top of the substrate breaking them all off.
Then collect em and dry em.and mist the substrate.
This will allow room for your next real flush to begin

They're B+ from a MSS. I have another tub going from the same syringe and it flushed much quicker and uniformly.

I believe you're right. I'll wipe em out tomorrow and see what she does.

Also, from the holes in the caps of some, and the drenched appearance, it looks like you are keeping them too wet.

I got called a dry guy before and I don't want to be that sociopath anymore. I overcompensated.

I hadn't noticed any holes. I thought those little dots were just some pattern. I'll have to pay closer attention to that.
Thabks again fam.
