I mainly use coir and vermiculite in what I do but if you're just giving horseshit away for free I'll try to find some straw.

All mail is xrayed and sniffer dog checked by several people on its way in for international and domestic. Foil shows up to easy and won't make it through, police go door to door for follow ups if your address is on the letter. Massive dark web crack down at the moment, old dinosaur politicians finally figured out what it is and are freaking out about it.
Only way to do it is print onto a cardboard birthday card and pin a bank note over it.
Then take about 6 million contaminated agar cuttings until you got something clean to work with. Like I said I'm just happy to have something to work with now. Hard work pays off in the end
For $200 I expect some laminate layered cardstock with the print effectively sealed cleanly inside and would have to be cut open to be discovered. These damn scabs on the dark web cutting corners...

When I make soft agar in a pasty plate I get germination maybe half the time. But I used to get premade Sab agar and I might get 1/10 of them to germinate. Huge waste of money.

Do no exotics grow near where you are?
If I was you I’d just do some cakes and clone a fruit to get something clean to work with. Trying to clean super dirty spores is a pita

Meh, straw is a pita imo
Coir/verm do a good job of giving poo a good texture

200 bucks for a gt print is 100% insane, but if that’s what it takes to get unlimited mushrooms then fuck it.
But I don’t think dogs smell spores and I’ve got lots of prints in plastic bags. You should definitely network on here, I’m in the us but have traded prints to Africa and Slovakia. If there’s a market for 200 spore prints out there you’ll have it made lol.

Same... I just sent some spores on paper to someone over in Central Europe also... shit, there was a dude in Romania I think that wanted 200 prints from me... sent em in a flat rate box for 9 usd and made it there in less than a week.

Dogs don't smell spores, and just because there's aluminum foil in a letter doesn't mean it will get confiscated. It's mainly what gets INTO the US what has strict controls and it still can be solved with a simple paper print.
But well it can be undone, hope the dude can still afford agar though.

Hello culters!
Kinda ran into a silly problem. Dont have suitable lids for the totes right now. What else could I use that would ensure proper gas exchange during the mono colinization?

Ive sent so many prints to new Zealand and Australia with zero problem And they're probably the most tough because of their worry about invasive species
Also charged 0.00 dollars

If it's the case that you just have opaque lids as apposed to transparent ones you can use the opaque lids and just side light the tub....unless you are missing the lids all together.
You could saran wrap the top of it

So does millet require a fuckin simmer or not? I've made attempts at soaking white millet for 24hrs, bag, pc for 3.5 hours. Fuckin grain always blows holes in the side of my bags and gets grain everywhere.
I have wheat but my autoclaves are in the same room that I do spawn run so I'm looking for a way to minimize the heat and energy required to prep grains. If I have to boil or simmer millet I may as well just continue to use wheat.
Millet doesn't seem to expand much even during a 24 hour soak, which may be fine for jars but it totally fucks my bags when they expand during the cycle. Am I missing something?

The millet in my WBS comes out just fine when I use Fooman WBS prep.
Bring water to a screaming hot boil. Dump in WBS Immediately remove from heat and cover. Let sit for an hour or all afternoon don't matter. Rinse and jar.
Let it dry a bit longer than the jars would normally be done when using bags?
