First DMT experience was.... Relaxing?

I must have gotten a weak batch, it was kind of a brown color and similar to marijuana wax in consistency. Took a large rip off of a vape genie, held it in and noticed some geometric patterns when I closed my eyes and a noticable body load. Waited about 10 minutes and then put a heaping pile of dmt into my vape. I took 3 large rips and noticed the same thing. It was nowhere near the strength of even a 3g mushroom dose.
I did notice that the body load was actually fairly comfortable and felt relaxed. Also seemed to be far less confusing than other psychedelics and more clear headed. Going to try the extraction process again and defatten it this time. Must be a lot of plant oil in it or something diluting the crystal. Looking forward to more. I can see the appeal of having a powerful trip that doesn't last for many hours.

Sounds like terrible quality DMT, but it's also possible to get a big resistance very quickly. Try waiting a full 24 hours then try again with the bigger dose.
The quality of the product sounds dreadful though. DMT should be pure white or slightly beige, if extracted properly, or yellow if extracted more clumsily. Brown waxy DMT sounds like someone went straight to base on acacia. Not ideal at all.

Lol yes that's exactly what happened. Lesson learned, hopefully next batch will be fire

Try acid base in future. It's the only proper way and really isn't very complicated. I think a lot of people try to make it look more complicated than it is as a sort of esoteric thing. Really it's just making tea with vinegar then reducing it a little, filtering out the plant matter, then putting lye in the liquid, then shaking it with some non-polar solvent after it all turns black and cools down a bit.
It's basically the same amount of effort as straight to base, but it produces a higher yield of superior product, and doesn't make such a giant mess of the kitchen at the end of the day.
There is an extra 'de-fatting' step that has to be used with acacia though too I think. I've only used Viridis and Mimosa though so can't say for sure what has to be done different with Acacia.
