Do hypholoma have a pellicle?

Be careful. Hypholoma is a varied genus. They can be gregarious, clustered, and even solitary. Compare fasciculare to dispersum to see what I mean.

Regarding your specimen, does it bruise blue?

Hollow stem. Looks like purple black spores on 1 of the stems.
See a little blue on a cap but am not quite 100% that its blue.

You said there was a pellicle. Is it separable? Also is the cap margin striate?

Yes it looks like the pellicle came off unless its just the top of the cap coming off.
Still unsure what striate means.

I can see the gills through the cap on the edges if that helps.

You wont find a stark white stem in even the majority of Psilocybes. I don't think it is a Psilocybe either but I wouldn't be so quick to rule it out for that reason.

What concerns me more than the dark stem is the cap. It is viscid but I don't see any striations or separable pellicle. By separable I mean you can break the cap from the underside and it will still be held together by a thin, viscid layer on the top if the cap.

Striated means you can see little lines running north/south around the edge of the cap. See the first picture in my signature for an example.

That's not the only reason I'm ruling out psilocybe. The main reason is because they don't look like - AT ALL- like any psilocybe I've seen.
