Or when I was a super edgy teenager, "I am thankful that Hitler introduced social programs into modern society" ... Being older and wiser now, I stick with the ole faithful "I am thankful I get to gorge myself near to death cause my BMI (sarcastic) is dangerously low"
You know, mix it up folks... I even catch my fam off guard by saying something I really am thankful for every couple years.
This is a good one.
Niffla, I feel like it's on the same level of lameness to be the guy saying what you're saying. 99% of people do that thing at their house on Thanksgiving. And 99% of Shroomerites have that same response at their thanksgiving. Be the 1%.

if you lost your sense of smell, i'd probably start taking zinc lozenges right away, just in case. that's a pretty classic covid sign. zicam or other similar zinc lozenges are great for reducing severity and duration of colds/flu by a couple days, especially if you take them at the start of symptoms - zinc has anti-viral properties. you gotta suck on it though, and let it coat your throat area and stay there for a bit. thats why it says not to eat or drink anything for 15 minutes after taking it, to let the zinc ions coat over and have time to reduce the viral load, giving your body an edge.
melatonin would also help too, to help your body rest better at night and fight off disease to its fullest capacity. also vitamin C and D if you aren't getting enough of those - many americans, at least, aren't getting enough vitamin D.
taking those won't stop covid in it's tracks since you already got it, but it should help give you a bit of an edge in fighting it - and other than the zinc lozenges (that's entirely too much zinc for everyday use, though getting a normal amount of zinc IS good for staving off colds), you can use those for preventative measures for a healthy immune system, along with simply getting enough rest every night.
a lack of sleep is one of the worst things you can do for staving off disease.
