Mazatapec First Flushes With Tiny fruits

I have grown mazatapec many times before and they are not as big as other strains, but these are not much bigger than aborts. I have have given them plenty of Fae and water,So I really don't understand why they turned out so small this time around. It's been a year or so since I have had successful grows and I know that they will be bigger on other flushes, but I am fairly dissapointed and it would be nice to avoid this in the future.
The substrate is a mixture of Horse Poo compost, straw,Coir, verm, and gypsum. The depth of the substrate has remained constant with any grow I have ever had. These were multispore, but I'm not sure genetics have much to do with it.
I did, however, use CLEAR plastic liner for the first time and there is quite a bit of side pinning. I was thinking that the additional resources used for the side pins might be a factor.
Any thoughts on what could have caused this to happen?

How much water did you use? Small Fruits could be the result of an oversaturated substrate.

the side fruiting/pinning is not the reason. usually they just fruit at the side and that's it, no problems except you have to remove them after the flush, always a bit annoying.
how did you inoculate? multispore? agar?

You mean oversaturated when I spawned them? Because I've always given my bins a lot of water after pinning with no issues

As it says in my post, multispore. Though I don't know why I would have to remove all of them. I'm pretty sure I've never done that

It's absolutely drenched. Also why you have the dense finger like spikey mycelium

As I've said,I always drench them...then I let them get fairly dry..and repeat.
I have no idea why the Mycelium is like that. This is the first time I've seen this.

Multi spore can be random. Never fully know what youll get. Kinda like humans mating. There are all sorts of possibilities.

Bod is right... drenched. Some people don’t realize that because something is dry on the outside (like cooked coir) doesn’t mean it isn’t fully hydrated.
