How comes I can’t find any turkey tail grow info?
    #27054032 - 11/23/20 02:13 PM (3 years, 2 months ago)

I’m finding an extremely lacklustre amount of information regarding growing TT. I got a wild culture to agar ready to go and cannot find anywhere to see what sub and growing conditions for indoor grows. Even YouTube is not helping.

Anyone please link would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would say use the standard method for wood species. Masters mix or 10% bran + sawdust, sterilized. I bet log culture would work well and probably the pasteurized fuel pellet tek would be good too.

I see this mushroom all over in nature so i would wager it is very aggressive and quick species.

ive grown TT a couple times, it was pretty fun and easy. i just used hwfp and a little gypsum, in a bag qnd cut a few slits in the bag when u put it in fruiting chamber. they kept fruiting and fruiting and fruiting it was almost ridiculous.

Sawdust is best, no need for vermculite.
