Innoculating BRF cake jars with grain?

Might get laughed at for this but, what’s one more noob question on good ole Shroomery?
I have a bunch of colonized grain.
Can I follow PF Tek more or less, but use grain to inoculate the jars (as opposed to an LC or similar)?
I have a few muda ziploc pp5 bottle tek going, but thought Id get some little half pint jars going too just for fun.
Thanks everyone

I don't know man, i think you will make things harder and they are simple. I suggest doing bulk with the grain for more yield, and, if you want some brf cakes you can(If you have some agar plates with good growth), grab a syringe with sterile water and pour some water on the plate and scratch the hell out of it and suck the water back in, and now you have LI, with this you can innoc the jars with the brf mix! Not saying this is what you need to do but you can try if you have some other project going on
-------------------- If any of the said above is incorrect, please correct me! Still learning here and constructive criticism is the best

ya best just to do grain to grain. orinject LC into grain and inject that into the brf. having colonized grain is already past brf on cultivation scale.

This is good advice thanks guys.
I tried a few jars anyway and while the grain seemed to colonize up, it didnt quite latch onto the brf/verm. So I just threw it all to a CVG bulk with some more grain.

I would recommend making a Liquid Culture then injecting PF jars with it. Just need a larger syringe gauge than a spore syringe.

The grain was colonized, as was the grain in the brf cake jars.
So essentially its just a cvg shoebox, with some extra sterilized brown rice flour and verm. Plenty of colonized grain added.

Dumb update, but the half-colonized jars I put to shoebox with cvg and other colonized spawn is chugging along ok.
The other 6 original pf tek jars noc’d with grain are actually looking good too.
If and when any of these fruit ill post pics haha. The grain was noc’d from a simple t1 agar dish, probably ketchup cup, MEA agar.
