Tasmanian Mushrooms and Toadstools - pertinent pages

Tasmanian Mushrooms and Toadstools is an older text on fungi in Tasmania, published in 1981. While some information is outdated, and all images are hand drawn, it is an interesting piece of mushroom hunting history in the region.
I encourage people to purchase their own copies of relevant texts to support authors, however this book only had 750 copies made and so is not easy to find.
I have attached the cover, and the two pages from the book relevant to Psilocybe varieties.

Excellent thanks figjam. I imagine you are already familiar but I highly recommend A Field Guide to Tasmanian Fungi by Genevieve Gates and David Ratkowsky. Also available in the library but well priced and available at local bookshops. It includes up to date information and wonderful photographs of many fungi including Psilocybe and also the times of year various species have been identified in Tasmania (some all year round).

This is an interesting book.
I managed to score a hand-coloured edition by the author!
Keep in mind this is very out of date, and of the Psilocybe listed, Psilocybe subaeruginosa is the only valid species.
As mentioned, the current accurate Tasmanian field guide is the one by Gates and Ratkowsky, now in its second edition.
