Which Eberbach blender container

i am going to buy a waring 1L lab blender with an autoclavable top. However there are two configurations of SS tops... One has a pressure fit lid on and the other has a screw top lid. the latter is 3 times as expensive so I was just going to go with the pressure fit lid. any reason I shouldnt do that??
