Caramelised honey in LC?
    #27052396 - 11/22/20 02:54 PM (3 years, 2 months ago)

Hey guys, I just wanna know what do you think about this LC medium I just did.

I used 4% honey (the color of the honey was dark)
Pc'd for 15 mins at 15 psi

even tho the honey was dark before cooking it, I feel the color changed and now is darker. There is nothing floating on it. Here are 2 pics, one with direct light, one with indirect light.

Is it caramelised?

Did you use tap or distilled water? Someone was having the same issue with their lc's and it wound up being their tap water i think. When sugars caramelize it usually involves reduction and evaporation which allow the crystals to form different structures at temps way lower than what a pc hits.
