Huh?

Unemployment is high. People will not be able to pay bills and put food in their bellies when businesses are closed.

If mask work so well, why is it necessary to close businesses and destroy an economy and peoples livelihoods?

Mask compliance is high in California, so what's the issue with keeping businesses open when mask are so effective?

I'm arguing, if mask work as well as everyone is saying, why can't businesses open with mask mandates?

Why would they be "pushing back"?

Maybe because they see Gavin Newsome out with dinner guest not wearing a mask while eating indoors. He said it was outside, but it wasn't. He said he wasn't expecting so many people to be attending, but they went ahead with dinner anyway, I heard it was an expensive restaurant too, like $400 a plate without any drinks.

And he got caught twice!!!

Are you going by per capita numbers, in a state with the highest population?

You know, if a small town of 300 people sees 3 infections, it could be deemed a hot spot due to such a high percentage of people being infected.

Case numbers hold almost zero weight. Any positive test result is considered a case, even if those people have no symptoms.

I'm going to point out again, SARS and MERS cases were only those with symptoms in hospital settings. No mass testing for asymptomatic 'cases'.

You don’t like case numbers? How about deaths?

California has one of the lowest (4th lowest) per capita daily deaths over the past 7 days. 0.16 per 100,000. The state with the highest is your favorite South Dakota with 2.56 per 100,000. That’s a whopping 16x higher than California.
