I've been trying to clone some wild edibles this mushroom season to grow next year in my garden on wood or in beds. I'm not very familiar with these types of mycelium on agar though, so I have some doubts about wether I got what I wanted. Clones of lionsmane (1) and shaggy mane (2): Lionsmane on a slant: Now I think these look quite good, and I found pictures of lionsmane mycelium that grows very similair. The one I'm most unsure about is the mycelium of Macrolepiota procera. This is by far my fav mushroom to eat, but I can't find a lot on how to grow it. Is it supposed to look like this? Young: Older:
Any feedback and or conformation (or not) is greatly appreciated!
I wouldn't be so sure of the hericium on that plate, but maybe it's the condensation. the slant looks more like it. Coprinus is the same as what I get. your Macrolepiota looks legit. I've had it on plate a while back so I'm not entirely sure but if I remember correctly that's how it looked. Had no succes growing it out though.
