Fastest fruiting ever - 5 days

I spawned this bag on Nov. 15 that was already pinning in vitro:

These came 5 days later:

This was an accidental experiment. Now I need to figure out how to get them to pin in vitro as its so fulfilling getting fruits in less than a week after spawn

Must have just had perfect conditions to colonize and consolidate quickly. Thats the only thing i can think of as to why you would have pins in vitro.

-------------------- But if you're in a hurry, and really got to go If you're in a hurry, might have to find out slow That it's one thing to try and another to fly You get there quicker just a step at a time It's one thing to bark, another to bite The show ain't over till you pack up at night

Genetics might be a factor. I had a TOC culture that would pin readily in bags 7-10 days after spawning. While other varieties needed to be exposed to fc's before pinning. I believe it was eatyualive that said that the TOC were very sensitive to light and may have been the cause.

I had 2 treasure coast tubs. My first started fruiting after 2 days of fruiting conditions. My 2nd took over a week and I thought it might be fked but I kept it. Then about a week and a half it started fruiting. I don’t understand. They were both inculcated with LC on the same day. My 2nd took longer for the jar to colonize but also took longer to fruit..... idk luck of the draw with spores???
