Grey mycelium- uniform and consistent across jars-contam?

I've seen this question has been discussed before but the answers were inconclusive. Is it possible for contamination to spontaneously impact an entire jar? I inoculated 5 jars with spores and all 5 are colonizing with a blue/grey tint that is completely uniform throughout the jars. It looks similar to contams I've had before, after they spored. But it was immediate, there was no initial contamination I could then see sporing. And it's not like it's one spot, it's all over all of the jars, and has been. It started colonizing in this color. These jars are at about 2 weeks, give or take a few days. Could this be a function of bruising or temperature or something? They are colonizing in a cardboard box set about 8 inches away from a baseboard heater set at 65, I'm guessing it's in the 80s at that distance (I realize I'm going to have to get more organized with my measurements and recordkeeping). I'm pretty certain the mycelium is just gray for these (Maui platinum), but I don't want to contaminate my fruiting chamber. Thoughts? Thanks

Yeah no, those jars are toast. I'm assuming these are post a shake or two?

Whatever it is, one thing it’s not is healthy mycelium. In general, it’s a good idea not to use cardboard in any part of your grow, even though that may not be the culprit here

Super fucked. Temps probably too high. Temps inside jars are always a few degrees higher because colonizing mycelium creates heat

That looks like a lot of moisture. Did you dry your grains well after before PC run? Is that polyfil really packed in there tight?

No there were no shakes that's why I'm so confused. All initial growth was this color.

I was just guessing there was a shake to get it evenly distributed. 65 is fine for myc, no need to go too much higher than 75 as that's getting into temps other beasts like.
It's most def not grey mycelium, dude. I'd toss those outside in a bed, hope for the best, and restart.

Hey,did you ever figured out what it was? How did it evolve?
I'm asking because I think I have exactly the same thing in some jars right now. I used black barely as a base (the one used to make black beer, I don't recommend it) and I think I also put a bit of honey and calcium. I was trying to grow blue oyster. In a day every grain got grey, sort of dusty look. No shake before, nothing. Directly inoculated with a seringue. Not looking healthy at all, though.
Well, you'd probably never read this but if you do by chance, it would be nice to know how yours ended.
Thanks!

Trich, mold, contamination. Really doesn’t matter so toss it out.

I had a pink oyster LC that only produced this grey growth stuff. Idk what it is but it is bad and not what you want.
