I tried these lids and I like them better than the white ones.  They do not crack as easily and they have perfect silicone gaskets included.

And if I understand correctly, you’re using the septums from the vacutainers instead of the grey SHIPS?

No experience with the old plastic ones, but the new dark grey leak proof ball ones in your picture are amazing. Zero issues so far under heavy use. Also you can melt SFD patches directly to the plastic with a heat gun instead of using rtv silicon.  :bow2:
