How do spore solutions not constantly contaminate?

I've made and used a few syringes with success on BRF cakes and grain. But I don't really understand how a "clean" solution is possible. Even if you have a sterilized syringe, water solution, and shot glass/container- all in a SAB or flowhood-the cap itself is not sterile and likely has bacteria or mold spores on it from the monotub where you picked it from. Wouldn't all that fall straight onto the foil you're using for your print (even if you wiped it with alcohol before)?

You are correct, which is why everyone says syringes are not clean. They’re not, but they contain no nutrients. Shoot that into grain, and everything starts growing. It’s a race to see what wins. There are relatively many more mush spores than anything else, which is why sometimes grain jars work out, and why BRF cakes can fruit. Most everything nocced up with a spore syringe may have some degree of contamination.

Also keep in mind spores are meant to last. Most of the bacteria that get on a print will just die eventually from desiccation but the spores can easily survive that.

I was wondering the same as OP actually. I've been seeing lots, and I mean LOTS (over 20) ads in Instagram for people selling grow kits in my country. The kits include spore syringes, sterilized grain in jars (sometimes even brown rice), and some weird totes with heaters and digital thermometers with them. I thought that clients of these sellers would fail miserably in the short and long run with this spore-to-grain strategy, but I was quite surprised to see many reporting success. some old high school acquaintances of mine even showed me pictures of grows with full canopies.
Still, they charge like 500% more than what the shit they include costs, and you are still left without a pressure cooker so... you cannot keep growing afterwards.
