Hard to tell that early, but from the pic it looks like it, just give it time, you'll know whether it looks right or not after a bit. Don't stress too much, might stress out the myc.
Post back some pics once it grows outs more.

Hey thanks for the input. I was super steril and I did a years of research before getting into it. I have a jar that should hopefully start in a few days. I'll post pics of both here within another week or so. My next mission is to make liquid culture.

I have B+ going in corn right now. I as well just started LC, 4 pint jars to start, then going to go to agar with them to check contam and isolate.

Too early to tell anything. It's just a small blob of mycelium at this point and nothing else is showing up. MS syringe to any substrate is always a gamble - especially with prepacked bags. I would worry about learning agar before you spend any time on expanding unknown contaminates via MS Syringe based 'LC'. If you have a legit clean culture to work from go for it, but if you had one you wouldn't be asking what mycelium looks like.

You can if you want. I think a shoebox is more realistic given the amount of grain and substrate.
Spore syringes have very poor success rate so I wouldn't get your hopes up (contamination happened to me and many others) and that is why I only inoculate grain with agar.

Well I think I did ok on being steril. Ill give a break down. I turned off heater and blower hours before prep. I cleaned my kitchen top to bottom and sterilized air every half hour or so with disinfectant. I even sprayed all surface areas in the kitchen. I then took a good shower brushed teeth real good and used antiseptic mouth wash. I then was ready to inoculate my bag. I preped all surface areas in alcohol, gave the bag a good wipe down. I handled my syringe and everything with utmost care making sure to not touch anything using only an alcohol preped paper towel to assemble syringe (forgot to note that i also had my hands up to my elbows sanitized). Thats when I heated my tip, let it cool and then inoculated my bag. I wiped injection port back down. Took alot of care in putting syringe back with just as much care and sterilization. Thats when I put my bag to inoculate. I did also innoc a 1/2pint jar the next week to see how fast my bfr cake would take to colonize.
I do plan on doing agar dishes and I also plan on doing liquid culture of some type as well. Like this post says this is my first time but I've studied up for years. I will continue to post pics and progress.

https://files.shroomery.org/files/20-47/604466136-received_1622848394573035.jpg here is the jar I did this is day 4 and I'm seeing myc. The bag looks good af too its showing signs of strong myc colonization as well.
One thing I can say I picked up threw all the studying I did is YOU CAN NEVER BE TOO STERIL when going threw the innoc process. I know it's still early but I think I did ok.

Go get a shoebox from Target or something, I think they are like a dollar each.
I have never done cakes but they have known to work better with spores than grain. You can be as clean as possible but what often contaminates is a result of the spore syringe. Spore syringes are inherently dirty and that is why it is a roll of the dice even if you do everything right. Depends on who made it and how they did it. Most users use prints/swabs because they can just clean it up on agar to be totally sure.
For the bag wait it out but if you catch the mycology bug start reading about agar. It takes all the guess work out.

Thank you. I bought 5 agar dishes and will let everyone know how it turned out. Now if I use spores to make a dish do I inject it directly into the agar? I bought my first syringe from a guy in San Antonio and they seem to be all right. After my first harvest ill make prints.
