Has anybody tried this shroom as I believe it was or has reclasified? :mushroom2:

Stropharia aeruginosa is not a psychoactive mushroom. It was ony changed to psilocybe aeruginosa.

There are more than 115 species of psuychoactive Psilocybe and the re are over 100 non-active Psilocybe species.

So it's now Psilocybe Aeruginosa? Heh, that doesn't fend well for the new hunters, considering how similar they can appear to Psilocybe Subaeruginosa.

Unfortunately for you Psilocybe aeruginosa looks nothing like Psilocybe subaeruginosa. They are two different mushrooms.

Psilocybe aeruginosa looks more like a blue Agaricus and P. subaeruginosa slightly resembles Psilocybe cyanescensw.

And as you can see they are i entirely different in appearance form each other.

Well Stropharia arantiatica looks nothing like these other two n0oted above species.



Not too suye if it is Psilocyeb or Stropharia. NEver saw a paper on it.

I've seen some that have looked very similar to subs, to the untrained eye that is. Or perhaps what i've been seeing is something else, but they look very similar to this pic.

Hi mj, for the sake of the 'archives'/ clarity or whatever, can you please edit your above post with the pics in it, I'm assuming the top pics should be headed 'P.aeruginosa', not P.SUBaeruginosa'... I could be wrong, but cannae make sense of the post otherwise...

oh ok, blame it on google image search :\ Whatever the ones I posted are, they SEEM to be the mushrooms that are present at nearly every p.subaeruginosa patch i've ever seen.
