I personally think.. it depends on which type of level of abstraction that your into..

Empty space in your room for example has air contained in it.. as a gaseous substance..

the secret to more closet space is hardware and some carpentry.
some closets have to be smaller. the most primitive approach is curtains.

space it self is capacity but it does not have any form, it can be described in terms of utility, accommodation, inclusion, freedom, extension, deformation, curvature, temporal and velocity impacts, etc.

Einstein had a great relationship with space.

So how does space relate to time (space-time)? Well it needs objects to move..?

Change, motion is what time is a measurement of.

Space is defined as distance.. distance needs a marker to be calculated.

So movimg in space only makes sense when there are markers.

The question is really as simple as this..

Is space empty? Or full?

I agree space is best used to described the perceived physical distance between objects.

I'd assert time is the quantification of movement of those same objects relative to one another.

Your last question depends on how rational you want to get LOL.
