So I inoculated this jar on 10/17/20 with GT multi spore syringe. All coplonized EXCEPT this one spot, I have three self healing injection ports and I even injected spores right into the spot that is not colonizing , what is happening??

If it has been a month and there hasn't been any growth on those sections then that part of the BRF is most likely bacterial. I expect you should start seeing pins inside the jars on the parts that are fully colonized soon.

So what's going on with the other two germination spots on that jar, have they stopped colonizing or what? Either way if you don't have more than 20% colonization after a month that means that the environment is one way or another unsuitable for colonization, could be contamination or something environmental but either way its not good. Keep the jar a couple of more weeks for observation if you like but don't get your hope up over than one. Gl

hmmm, so the rest of the jar is colonized, and this morning it looks like that part that wasn't colonizing looks smaller to me so maybe it is moving into that spot now. ill keep an eye on it for sure.

Are there any odd colors or metabolites? This would indicate mold/bacteria. Although sometimes you can't see what's going on (especially if its bacterial) and the jar will just stall.
However, I don't "see" anything from that picture. I'm assuming you inoculated with MS. So you have a genetic crapshoot. If you PC'd correctly and your sterile technique was good when inoculating, it could be just the genetics you got (slow grower).
I've had everything from lightning speed colonization to absolute snail pace. Although very slow colonization of brf cakes isn't typical (assuming no contam), it can happen (if those genetics are being expressed).
You said you're watching it. I'd also suggest marking the glass where the growth stops to see how/when it's moving past it.

Good idea, I'll mark it right now before I leave for work and will check it out in the morning to see if any growth happened in that area. Thank You!

If I get back to my house on the 30th of this month after leaving for about 4 days for thanksgiving and that spot is not colonized should I NOT consider spawning that one with other cakes to coir and just discard it?

If you have any reason to suspect a jar might be contaminated, definitely don’t spawn it with the rest of your grow. If you’re desperate to see what happens you can always make that one jar into a tiny tray and see how it goes, but keep it separated from the rest of your grow

Bacterial. You can spawn it as a cake but I would not spawn it to bulk with the rest of your grow.

It's time to start over, toss that jar out and try again. If it hasn't moved at all it means it completely stalled out and the jar wasn't suitable for the mushroom. It happens, don't sulk, open it up, say your goodbyes. You can toss it into your compost if you feeling hurt over it. Just open it outside the home just incase there's anything in there. Clean out that jar good. sorry for your loss.

Bacterial.
But I don't think it's worth spawning being bacterial. Not worth the effort for one little jar.

Exactly! Just fill it back up with new sub and re-sterilize after its been cleaned out good. It's easier to just start over with BRF than to try and save them.

This is my first grow, and I think the last time I use BRF Tbh, Switching to Whole Oat Grain like BOD uses. once i fruit these 4 cakes gonna take spore prints of the best fruits and make LC to noc-up my grain jars.
