stareatclouds said: Nah, that's not healthy at all. I was going to comment on your first post that it looks like mycogone or stroma, but the tray setup made me think it was a pan grow. For cube, nah, not very healthy. I'd keep fruiting until something goes green.
Do searches for mycogone/wet bubble or stroma and compare.
Hey, so I know its a few days later and I was following your advice until I couldn't. Instead of tossing the tray I decided that I would see what the fluffy shit was before getting rid of it. Well I flamed sterilized a scalpel and cut through and it bruises blue heavily.
Now to my knowledge mycogone is a mold. Based off the bruising and what stroma is I'm assuming that's what I got going on. But the su environment thing doesn't make sense because the fc has been running high rh (95%). The coir may have been on the drier side, so I misted it after removing the stroma just to see what happens. I'm not sure what petroleum chemicals they could have been exposed to, so that's interesting.
Is stroma overlay? Or are they different?

Remember this tray?

Now I know it's nothing impressive, but I was really expecting this experiment to fail, so I'll take some mushrooms if this shoebox wants to give them to me.

Some developing cinctulus. Thank God the caps have gotten bigger since this. Was worried there for a moment.

You're not wrong about PRs being tiny and sparse. After fruiting a few rounds from spore inoculated LC, I isolated a big PR I admired by cloning it to agar for further research. This first round on the cloned specimen left me presently surprised. I just took spore sprints from this round and will continue in the research.

My mom is cooler that all your moms! Just got my late birthday present:
I just turned 32 and my mom refuses to not get me something... so the past few years I've been asking for weirder and wilder things just to see how far she'll go... been playing around, making DMT a lot lately so I asked mom for some chemistry equipment... all she said was put it on my Amazon list... so I find this evaporation tube setup with all the extras for like 130 bucks I think... and she has no idea what I'm doing with any of it! Gotta love moms!
Edit: better put some mush pix up... don't wanna twist any knickers... lol
What a difference a day makes... lol

everyone has their furnace running and its helping burn up all the baddies in the air around homes so there's more success overall methinks.
