4 bags barely showing growth. 1jar roaring out the gate. What gives?

Hello all, so I inoculated these spawn bags (ordered online) on 11/04/20 and they are just now showing growth and it doesn’t seem to be growing that quickly. And it seems that the mycelium is only growing on the bottom of all 4 of my bags. Could this indicate anything?

On a more positive note I inoculated a homemade jar of brown rice just 4 days ago and it’s showing strong signs of growth on the sides and the top of the grain.

I’m mostly worried about my spawn bags bc I was planning on spawning them to bulk inside a monotub I already made ... any help? Thank you!

Yes. And yes I know. I have agar in the works. Is it bad?

Yes. I have agar in the works. Do they look contaminated or did the jar just get a good gene pool?

No they don't look obviously fucked yet. The spore solution ran down to the bottom of your bags so that's why you see growth there. The jar obviously germinated along the glass. Spores grow out somewhat wispy IME so you might still be gtg.
Spore syringes take a bit longer to grow out because they need to germ first, live mycelium is quicker. Keep an eye on it and see how it goes; don’t be surprised if at least some of them contaminate though, y'know, due to the spore syringe and all.
Edit* it's hard to tell what's going on in that jar. It could possibly be mold, could be wispy mycelium. If it grew inordinately fast you may fave mold.

Thank you sir. I am a novice. In your experience, are signs of contamination quick to catch or can it take over at any point in the process of colonization?

Buying bags online can be tricky even from reputable sources. There are just too many potential contam vectors during transit.
They are colonizing at the the bottom of the bags because your inoculate ran down to the bottom. The reason your jar colonized higher up is because the brown rice more dense.
