Getting started on my glove box! Check it out so far. 1

Here she is.
I plan on painting it inside and out with a few coats of white paint that can be easily washed down with bleach and sterilized with alcohol without any worries of this damaging the paint. Any suggestions on the type of paint that's good for this purpose I'd love the input. Thnx.
Anyhow, here she is! Should be able to hold quite a few quart jars and once I get things rolling, probably 4 - 6 spawn bags depending on how big they are.
Questions / comments always appreciated!

Just to add a bit of info:
The width is roughly 34" The height at the back is roughly 19" The height at the front is roughly 9" The depth (distance from front to back) is roughly 20"
The piece of plywood at the front will be getting cut down shorter, just haven't done that yet.
I have plans to put a gasket around the perimeter where the glass makes contact with the wood.
The glass will be locked into place / pushed tight against the gasket with a unique mechanism which I'll just show you when it's done instead of trying to explain it beforehand.

Sorry man you want a still air box made out of sanitary surfaces. But it looks good otherwise

I am aware of the standard cheapy glovebox made from a plastic tub although I wanted to build something which would be able to have a glass top to allow optimal visuals while working within the tub. I've used the plastic tub style before, and I've also built glovebox's like the one I've put together here and I enjoy working in the wooden ones much better. they just have a better shape within to work and maneuver the jars and such. Personal preference I suppose. I don't see how paint would encourage contams? Given the right type of paint I think it would seal off the pores and grain of the wood, removing the nooks and crannies where contams would otherwise have a chance to take up residence.

I think you missed the part about no gloves. They tend to pull air currents more than just having simple holes and spraying some kind of liquid into the air inside to settle before you start work.

Actually I was considering covering the inside surfaces by glueing something like the poly film sheets used in cannabis grow rooms. It's white on one side and black on the other. I think a thick paint would be easier though
