Offline or Online, have you ever been part of a group of losers?

Not counting the greatest mushroom tribe in the world of course
Were you ever part of, or hanging out with a group of people that you then or now felt like about?
OR! Have you become proud member of a group you previously thought of as losers, but changed your mind about?

I've always been a loner. I'm really good at being a loser by myself, but I've hung out with the local fuckups a number of times and gotten stoned and done pills and meth with them. There's something about working towards self destruction that's more enjoyable with company. Probably the fact that we have a common urge to obliterate ourselves. In high school I always fit in better with the metal heads, stoners, slackers, and all-around misfits better than the preppy rich kids whose daddies ran the town. Nowadays, I don't care. I can get plenty fucked up in any company. I actually tend to get on better with people than I ever did back in high school.

Yes, thiough I wouldn't call them losers. I love 'em all, and I like most of pretty well too.
About a dozen guys from my gym here in America is the WhatsApp group to which I refer.
I just had to remove myself from it is all. They talk all day every day for the most part and since COVID hit the world there was a steady but sure increase of the toxicity in the group.
Still all good face to face, but I dislike being forced into perceived political stances, fixed and unchanging minds, and listening to lots of talk about harming others.
Suppose I shouldn't be surprised that rough 'n tumble American ex-marine types feel that way though.
What really surprises me sometimes is how, as fresh/1st generation immigrants, they've so taken on board the American mindset so fully that they hate immigrants and want to stop them.
Isn't that just fucking barmy?
tl;dr - moral of the story is, I guess, that I don't think any group is a group of losers per se, but rather, sometimes I find people behave in a toxic manner and I don't want to be around that bad juju shit.

One suggested translation is Council House Associated Vermin.
Some better ideas here:
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Chav
Essentially the British version of 'white trash'.

Humans are total losers, as a species. We're just the most fucked up, moronic, harmful, horrible goddamned species out of the 8.7 million species that have ever existed on this planet.
So on that level, I agree that there are definitely loser groups, and it's us.
Individuals are awesome though.
Quote:
George Carlin said: People are wonderful. I love individuals. I hate groups of people. I hate a group of people with a 'common purpose'. 'Cause pretty soon they have little hats. And armbands. And fight songs. And a list of people they're going to visit at 3am. So, I dislike and despise groups of people but I love individuals. Every person you look at; you can see the universe in their eyes, if you're really looking.

One time I was friends with these guys, and one of the guys says, āHahahah we really are liars arenāt we?ā I got really mad and offended at the guy and I just started screaming at him and I told him I was not a loser. I was mad at him for a long time, and it made me rethink my friendship with him. I stopped being friends with him and started hanging out with a different group of people in school after that. Him saying that offended me and also lowered my opinion of him too.
