Making the best of a (slightly) bad situation

First of all I should say that I know I have been stupid but as always, it seems like a good idea at the time and I should have listened to all the advice on here because it's here for a reason.
My situation is that I have a few bags and about 20 jars that were all from a multipore syringe. I KNOW THAT I SHOULDN'T HAVE inoculated WITH THIS AND THAT I AM A TOTAL IDIOT FOR DOING IT AND THEN PERSUING IT.
The first shoebox I have spawned from this lot has got trich, as I have posted in another thread.
I have a load of other jars that I have been cloning from a good agar slide which are almost ready to go so I could just toss all the multispore ones and basically start again.
My question is - should I have a go at spawning all the multispore jars and bags and could I do it in a stripped own way instead of with a coir mix? Maybe just using the rye grains with a verm casing that has been soaked in Peroxide? That was suggested by an experienced friend
Any help would be absolutely great, please help a wally like me!

So I'm guessing you have a few bags and jars of rye inoculated with an MS syringe? What do they look like? It's not impossible for an MS syringe to grain to be ok and spawning as normal could easily work... Why skip the coir? It's super cheap.
If the jars look ok, you don't need the tubs for something else, and have the space to spare, I'd spawn as normal but not count on it working. Could be a waste of time and coir, but could also be totally fine...
Do not do what your "experienced" friend suggests, that's just foolish...

Thanks for the advice.
My 'experienced' friend is slightly bonkers!
I'm just going to go for it and see what happens but do all of the boxes in a separate room to where I normally grow.
As for the jars I have already, they look OK. Had a couple of contams but that could have been my fault too.
The reason for skipping the coir was to see if I could get them fruiting quicker to reduce the chance of the contam growing but I guess that's probably unscientific?
I'll keep sticking them out and see what happens.

Light is beneficial to mycelium growth, but it’s also beneficial to contaminants. There’s a reason people used to do their grows in the dark; it’s because almost everyone was doing grows from MS which was likely to contaminate.
Wrap the jars in foil to keep them pitch black and don’t peek on them until there’s a chance they could actually be ready to go. Once you spawn to coir, keep that completely in the dark for at least 8 days before even checking the first time, and don’t expose to light and fresh air until it is 100% colonized.
Your grow may go slightly faster with light exposure all along the way, but given that you used a syringe, it’s also more likely to contaminate. Weaken any contaminants by taking away their source of energy and keep your grow in the dark until fruiting.
