Need help with PDA using instant mashed potato powder recipe

I would like to make PDA using isntant potato powder.
However I am not sure the "molecular weight" of potato powder, I know agar's moleular weight is 0.34 gram / cubic centimeter.
so 10 grams of agar is aroun 34 ml
How many millileters is X amount of dried potato powder.
Can someone kindly provide a reliable recipe and some links, in VOLUME...
I really don't want this to fail it would make me SO SAD...
My first time making agar. I've opted to use PDA instead of MEA as I've read MEA is used for yeasts and molds rather than higher fungi from a researcher at a US University... I can find the link... anyhoo.

I get that a university said that but it's just their old rule of thumb. Different brands of potato poweder will have different flake size and thus different density. That's why there's no volumetric measurements to be found unless you find someone who can weigh it then volumetrically measure it for you. Go get a scale
Same for agar. Your assumptions are going to get you in trouble with your recipe. Agar powder will have different size particles so one persons teaspoon will weigh different than someone elses with a different brand of agar

Yeah I'd rather spitball with agar than with nutes. Especially with potato flakes. IME they work but not that great. If you absolutely, positively can't snag a scale (really, really need one with mush cult and they're just ten bucks) I'd use BRF instead. Also, nothing wrong at all with MEA. Works absolutely fantastic actually. My issue there is that the premixed versions on the Zon at the recipe on the package are too heavy in both agar and nutes and need to be reduced.

Yeah that's what I use. I do 5g-9g to 400ml depending on rather it's actual flour and if I ground it like shit in the coffee grinder and circumstances. Cheap and most myc likes it (plus brf agar is prone plate pins. I like plate pins...). Potato flake recipes has always given me meh growth compared to grain water, brf, ME, etc... I'll use it once in a purple moon, but brown rice is cheap. I let the stuff I grind sit (bloom) in the water about 15-20 minutes before adding my agar and heating (I run prepours but if using a media bottle I would still do that part before PCing). Bagged stuff I just stir in and wait a few minutes then add my agar. Dollar bag of brown rice lasts an eternity.

so 5-9 grams brown rice flower, 400 ml water, and 10 grams agar? Mate, I am definitely gonna do some comparisons with this, PDA and also MEA, and do a write up, for sure. Although, I don't have an isolate yet... just a bunch of contammed petris with some healthy mycelium, that I'm waiting to grow out a bit more...
I have a giant bag of BRF so I'm quite glad for this recipe...
