Should be likely T.bufonium. The damage under is old, not caused by me.Obviously turned pink/violet. Is this documented anywhere ?

Left - what I have seen, entire thing looked greenish under, camera picked yellow doh.

Did it have the odor? That should have been one of the most prominent features if it were T. bufonium. There aren't a lot of mushrooms that have that odor.

Did not smell it. Tested today on same loc, other specimen and it really smells bad. Reading local page there is no diff. betwen T. bufonium and T. sulphureum regarding smell. I'm not even sure yelow cap tells anything (see link below), comparing local description I could say t. bufonium has hollow stem at least at some point and t. sulphureum not.

Due to hollow stem T. bufonium ?

It appears that these two species are a source of confusion going back to the days of Persoon. I'll refer you to a paper from 2004 where the authors decided to unite the species. It's worth noting that the folks at Kew apparently haven't accepted this idea and still list them as separate species (at Index Fungorum).

Tricholoma seems to be undergoing a fair bit of revision over the past couple of decades and I doubt that we are near the end of it.

If you aren't already, I'd encourage you to make collections of the various specimens you find and submit them to a nearby registered herbarium so they may be used in studies in the future. You certainly seem to find plenty of interesting fungi that would be of interest.
