So hoping that the cryptic title is enough to garner some attention to my question. . .
Bond prefers his martini shaken, not stirred. . . Are LC’s the same?
I’ve been shaking like a Parkinson twice a day, and have found that colonisation takes way longer than many folks in here. . . 3+ weeks till 75% full. . .
I found a stoopid cheap magnetic stirrer, and some stir bars. . .
How often and vigorous are y’all stirring/shaking?

My money is on your LC being close to 500ml, that could take way more than 3 weeks easy. With two 250ml LC's you'll have the same amount of liquid when all's said and done, but in a fraction of the time.

My first few were 300ml in a 500ml media bottle, mushboy style. . .
I thought The issue may have been too little O2(air) ratio In the bottle. . .
As I pour 8 x 1L grain jars each session, I now use 250ml media bottles with 100ml in each. . .

So I bought a stir plate and am experimenting with 0.05% agar in my broth. . . About half a viscous as glycerol. . .
It's pretty cool turning the stirrer off and watching the myc just stop, suspended. . .

You're gonna love agar LC. I use a 0.1% ratio, so twice as much.

I use 250mL media bottles, 200mL of broth, unmodded lids, shake them like a spray paint can for a couple seconds at least once a day, sometimes twice, get the same stats as you. Takes 3 weeks til 75% colonization, call it good enough, decant the uncolonized broth before pouring to jars. Have a magnetic stirrer but only one stir bar and four bottles makes it useless, i really should order stir bars one of these days
Also the title worked

Maybe I can help with my
My jars are filtered and I usually make 200-250ml of solution (.2% LME and .1% agar). Most of the times I don't use a stirrer, just swirl it a couple times a day and break it up with the tube that reaches to the bottom of my jars.
I kid you not, my LC's are ready in 6-7 days from biopsy. I guess it would be even faster if I inoculated with a wedge or from LC to LC.
It's crazy what a bit of agar can do as far as speed of colonization of the broth. Myc colonizes the broth completely, that means no clear uncolonized parts of liquid to be seen. Thick LC and thick syringes.
Here's a pic dump,

I'm only now getting faster cultures as when I started, I missed the part where you isolate fast cultures. . . Cloning plate pins and first fruit has pushed me towards faster cultures. . .
I've been using some measuring spoons (drop/pinch/tad) as measures to speed up the loading of media bottles. . . Might try higher ratios thanks Jose, time will tell. . . I'm taking a break from fruiting and working on cultures for a bit. . .
