My adventure of bottling shroom tea 4

So I had the idea of bottling shroom tea.
I bought some bottles 12oz from Amazon and bottle caps and capper for $50
Boiled a dry oz of mush into 48 Oz's.
Then strained the tea with coffee filters into a Mason jar then squeezed mio into each container.
My math tells me that each bottle should have 7g of shroom tea in each.
I capped the bottles and put them into my presto on low for 1 hour 5-9psi. Caps did not blow off!
My friend is trying the bottle out tonight I will let you know how it goes. We are going to test a bottle every two weeks to see if it holds contam free and potancy.we figured do it every two weeks so his tolerance does not go up that high.

Here is what the finished product looks like and the mio makes the tea taste amazing!
Update #1 first week trial friend/ guinea pig split it with gf. Had a level 3 trip 1-5. Great visuals at 3.5g a piece.
Update #2 it has been three weeks since bottled and he and his girl have done bottle #2 same trip kind of the trip lasted about the same as the others but didn't get the rainbow effect on his phone this time. But all good don't think potancy was lost if any.
Will be spacing this last bottle out to two more weeks that way he can fully get it out of his system and see how the trip goes hoping we can store bottle's for up to two months.

I'm really amazed the bottles didn't burst in the PC. They do that sometimes from overcarbonation in homebrewing. I'm also surprised the cap seals held up. Good to know.

Pressure inside and outside is balanced. its higher outside the bottles as the PC heats but the inside eventually catches up as it heats too. On cool down the bottles will have a higher pressure than the cooker. But even shitty beer bottles hold 50+ psi

7g each sounds perfect. "Tea for two", as it were. Been hoping you'd pull the trigger on this experiment so thanks for taking the plunge. Had just seen someone else canning tea in pint jars a couple days after you mentioned this in your other posting (wondered if they'd seen your post and got a wild hair.. ). Anyway, very cool and definitely will be on this one.

Home brewing has carbonation... This is tea so it didn't over pressure at all or maybe it is my luck idk but the bottles stayed sealed and my buddy just checked in him and his gf are tripping balls so that's a+++. So 1 bottle 7g a bottle. Two heavy doses. He also reported the mio took all the taste out and taste great.
Also something about his phone screen looks rainbow ish??? Idk.
The real test is seeing if it holds potency.
I used brown glass so UV is protected
Also bought labels for the bottles. Will post pics in a min these labels are awsome $30 for 100 shipped! Gonna bottle all this extra shrooms for these 12 tubs I have way to much ended it with 2lbs 3oz dry first flush so yeah these 24 bottles are gonna be used up in a month if this holds.
Ok here is the label hope you guys enjoy!

Trippy ain't it!

Ah, that's the piece I was missing. It makes more sense knowing that.

This way might be the new way of saving out tea's!! I honestly hate straining it though.... Is there a faster way then freaking coffee filters?

Trippy ain't it!

You should spring for holographic labels on your next run. Had a friend draw these up for me and I love em. Pics don't really do it justice.
Love this bottling idea

I'm really interested in how long these will hold potency too, especially after 2-3 months, even 6 months.
I'm surprised no one has tried this yet over the years?
Looking forward to some of your results!

Would you pm me where you had those made!! I have mine made in metallic... But not that nice I wanted something that people would stare at while tripping and be more tripped out!
And yeah that is what this adventure is about to see if I lose any strength a few months down the line. I have done everything in my power to make sure it stays the same the day I bottled it gonna start at 2 week intervals. 2x4=? 2 months... Hell if tea can last two months that's pritty good. And all honestly I don't see why not. It's seal 1st off 2nd it's seal air tight 3rd... I used brown bottle sunlight is a killer of acid and shrooms so I figured nothing can escape if it is air tight something has to escape for you to lose it...
It is pasteurized I didn't use sugar so no fermentation because I'm pritty sure mio is sugar free and kosher... So I don't see it rotting. I thought about this hard planned and budget. My bf was my taste dummy and the one who came up with mio as my flavors. It's strong and good enough to mask the taste of shrooms it is like drinking kool aid.
Sugar and yeast are what make things go bad with out proper cleaning/ pasteurization. I mean how does juices last months! I don't think these bottles will last months though without a fridge...
Also did gummies .1 each gummies 280 gummies for people I know who want to trip but not taste it. I have someone who is gonna eat 20 total and see what happens....
I want to start making different things I mean everyone and there mom has grown shrooms but I don't think to many people have though of ways to gift them. I'm making a bunch of bottles for Christmas for my friends sit around a campfire and have them share a bottle of peace tea! Spread the love and ☮️

Just ordered one... Same one you linked. Yeah now to figure out a pump source maybe something like a hand pump or a mini electric pump. This will make tea making so much easier. I'm ready for the holidays!

This is good stuff. Nice way to get some extra use out the PC too. Who knew they aren't just for sterilising stuff.
Look forward to the updates on how your peace tea holds up.

The fun part is trying to keep the pc at 5-10 psi with out over pressure
