Stall colonisation

Hey guys, three weeks ago I have injected 3ml b+ into rye grain, exactly as shown in the link, this is where I got it from. I have been extremely careful, clean while doing everything. Maybe it's worth say that I have injected it very deep, middle of the box.
Now my box have two white spots, look like clean mycelium, light, nice and sweety smell and there is a lot of condensation going inside, but the progress stopped over a week ago. Is it possible that the mycelium is developing inside of the box so that I can't see anything just yet apa from these two spots? It's the first time I colonised and I have carefully followed instructions. Not sure what I did wrong, or is it just normal?

Yes its possible that your wanted mycelium is growing in places that you can't see. Germinating growth from a spore syringe may take longer than other methods and on top of that the syringe may contain contaminants straight from the place of origin so its a bit of a crap shoot. You're going to have to wait a while longer and it may end up contaminated regardless of how careful you were. What timeframe is listed in the instructions?

It does not say accurately, it says from 10 days m but may take longer depending where you injected spores. Threre are two spots, no green, blue yellow just white size of a thumb I can see.
What about sweet smell, I have read that it not necessarily mean something wrong, it's kinda nice smell, nothing disgusting.
And definitely a lot of moisture /condensation inside, sometimes my box looks like a colonised kit and then the water dissappear.

I know that sweet smelling jars are a sign of contamination so I would assume that a sweet smelling sub could mean contams as well. My clean tubs all smell faintly of fresh mushrooms and nothing else. Again, where you used spores to inoculate your substrate it may take a lot longer to see the growth that you're expecting. The moisture is fine unless its pooling all over the top of your substrate. I guess you should keep waiting for now and see what happens
