CBD isn't psychoactive in that way. It certainly doesn't get me or anyone else "high" in anyway at all. This is like saying one took some ibuprofen or Tylenol and got high.
I've taken large doses and I've taken many large dabs of pure CBD, it does almost nothing by itself. Certainly doesn't get one high or make one trip or induce "visions" and certainly doesn't have an opioid-like high or warmth.
For me CBD has nice synergy with and modulates the effects of THC and other cannabinoids, but by itself it does absolutely nothing to get one "high".
I find it super strange that you're getting high, tripping, and having full on "visions" from CBD lol. By itself, CBD will not get anyone "high" in anyway. So if you're catching a high and becoming altered then it's likely that what ever you're working with isn't actually CBD.
CBD does not do that.
They sell the stuff in gas stations and grocery stores. It wouldn't be legal and openly sold over the counter if it was going to get people high and make them start tripping and having full on sequences of visions lol.

What you're arguing isn't accurate. I've talked with numerous friends and acquaintances who've gotten very stoned from taking CBD. It's not well-regulated in terms of how much THC is in it, and even if it were, CBD isolate can be psychoactive on its own. There's also a difference between gas station or grocery store CBD and high-end products that can be bought online.
I've smoked weed and used psychedelics for years, so I think I'm capable of understanding if a substance is causing me to trip or putting me in an otherwise extremely altered state.
For what it's worth I use Lazarus Naturals, a very respected CBD company that claims to have 0.3% THC in its full-spectrum tincture. I suspect it's a higher and somewhat variable percentage. But in any case, I've used dozens of CBD products and tend to dose high, and literally any of them will get me stoned if I use 200+ mg.

I don't think it's a unique club. As I said, I've talked to probably dozens of people who are regular CBD users or have at least tried it and say it gets them stoned. CBD is a psychoactive cannabinoid.
I also use high doses, as high as or higher than the doses recommended for managing chronic pain, which was one of the reasons I began using it.

I love taking high-CBD, low-THC edibles. I find it gives my body an extremely pleasant high that makes me want to stretch, play, breath, etc. I enjoy a threshold THC dose (so I can barely feel the mental effects) with LOTS of CBD.
I've never gotten psychoactive effects from CBD though, in fact I have never felt any effects from it unless I have a little THC with it.
But CBD is certainly an active compound, sounds like youre taking WAY more than I am I'll play around with increasing the CBD dose with a flat threshold dose of THC in the future.
