Does anyone have any idea why my mushrooms look like this? They seem to open too early and not grow properly? RH is at 99% it says and I have loose polyfill in all the holes for FAE. What can it be? I´m doing Damien 50/50 tek.

They look cute tho.

Hehe
Could it be that the bulk substate is too wet? It was probably little bit wetter than field capacity but it seems to have been colonized anyway. How important is field capacity?
Can too little light affect too? Mine only gets the light that comes in from the window and lights up the room, but not particularly bright because it's winter. But it does not feel like light affects particularly much? There have been many pins after all?

Yes too wet of a substrate causes those really stocky shrooms.
Its not that bad, they are healthy enough and will still make your trip.

Agreed with the above. Saturated substrates give me growth like this.
The upside is you won't have trouble rehydrated the sub and getting a great second flush usually.

Ah shit! I thought it must have been something like that, because all the other variables didn't seem to be a problem! Thanks alot brothers Will adjust it for the next one.
