HELP! Contaminated Shoebox?

Hello.
I have just moved a shoebox from one cupboard to another. It was well consolidated (even a couple of pins) and so I took off the lid and put a plastic bag over the top with small holes in.
Now one day later it has what looks like some nasty mould.
Could I please have some advice about what to do?
Here are some pictures - it's the white fluffy stuff I am worried about:

Seems to be overlay which is usually the beginnings of trichoderma. It was likely already gaining foothold in the substrate and the timing is coincidence.

Thanks for the reply.
Does that mean it's one for the bin?

Let it ride for a little bit and see what happens

I think it's a little fluffier and denser but I am no expert!

Thanks - that's exactly what I will do - thank you for the advice.
I will post some updates.

Here are some more pics.
It's gone bobbly, the sub is brown through the box and there is some green on it too!
Is it worth cutting it out as there are some pins coming...
Hopefully I can save something!

IF it is Trich, then it’s usually all throughout the tub already. You can try cutting it out, and see what flush(es) you can get. Before anything, I would separate it if you have it in the same room as your SAB/Flowhood, other projects like tubs and agar or whatever. If the white turns to green and then the green sporulates, it won’t be good for future grows. Or you can just separate it and let it do it’s thing. You’ll most likely get something off it, but don’t expect a huge canopy or anything.

I wouldn't even bother with that amount of mold. Any fruits you get from that sub are likely to be bad and mushy

I agree. If the bad stuff is fruiting before your pins are showing, the likelyhood of a successful grow is low. The fact that there are multiple contam points as well as the metabolites throughout the substrate point to spawn as the source of the issues.

Throw that out, thats a serious health hazard. Don't ever try to "ride it out and see" or try spraying hydroxide. There are reports of people dieing from mold exposure getting in their lungs. THROW IT OUT

So, I cut and waited and the poor little guys stunted at this far.
As the advice again - never going to try and salvage again - always straight to trash.
That said, do you think I can do anything with the little ones?

Its really not worth the effort to try to save anything from it. Toss it and put your time towards getting some agar experience so you can have clean spawn that won't just randomly do shit like that.
