Lion's mane grow kit: Is condensation in sub bag okay?
    #27030279 - 11/09/20 01:47 PM (3 years, 2 months ago)

I bought a grow kit from a local supplier to try out some lion's mane. You get a block of hardwood substrate in a filter bag. The sub arrives already pretty much 100% colonized. The company gives instructions to cut an X in the bag, put in the provided humidity tent, and then spray a couple times a day with water until you get pins.

I have everything set up, but there looks to be a lot of condensation inside the filter bag itself between the sub and the plastic. Lots of water droplets inside the bag pretty far away from the X I cut in the center.

Is this condensation okay? Should I cut more holes in the bag to allow some of this condensation to evaporate?

probably ok, but you can poke a hole to let it drain.

A picture would help but usually slight condensation is nothing to worry about.
