Took my tea as I posted at 8pm, and I'm slowly coming down now. Definitely wasn't what I expected from these little guys after hearing how weak they are but they treated me right. I had some nice OEV & CEV, at my peak I was having distortion, swirling, tracers, and then I just closed my eyes and watched the close eye visuals zoning out. It was very fun and a beautiful time, definitely happy I decided to try these tonight for the first time.

I love seeing all your pics man! Makes me wonder if there are loads of pellies around here just waiting to be found...
It's sick that you were able to have a legit experience from a relatively small weight... now I'm wondering if I should be looking for pelliculosa instead of cyanescens :P

Thank you so much Spank, being in Oregon you should have no problem finding these if you're looking for them in a suitable habitat. Like clearcuts, and on the side of logging road & trails, eventually you'll find some Spank.
Me to haha, I definitely was taken back a little as I wasn't expecting to much effects but ended up getting what I needed haha. If you find some, definitely worth a try.

Fuck yeah Mad, me too! I check my Panaeolus Subbalteatus field at night and fuck man, the silence and pure darkness at night is so peaceful. Nothing better then seeing some deer out there grazing in the fog, under the moonlight glow.

Vancouver Island, BC
I took some habitat shots for you today Spank, these are the types of places you should be looking for Psilocybe Pelliculosa. These are all habitats I found Psilocybe Pelliculosa last year, it was around this time last year but they seem to be a little late this season. I feel like some good rain will get them to pop up, I have only seen them thrive in this old clear cut so far. They mostly like hide under the new growth where there is a good micro climate, so going low and checking under the foliage is key for finding them. They will be out in the open amongst the wood debris, but always check around as there will be more lurking.
- Clear Cut Habitat

Today's clear cut findings

For looking for them on logging road, check the side of the road they will pop up between the rocks and off to the side in the grass or wood debris, also around log pills left on the side of the road. They also like where logging roads meet a trail, just hiding off on the side of the trail.
- Logging Road Habitat

Today's logging road findings

For finding them on trails, they can be found growing on the the trail but you mostly find them to side off the trail. In moss, under bushes, and around wood debris.
- Trail habitat

I hope these help ya Spank and I hope you have good luck hunting.

Well I've got a lot to share here and I am super fucking excited with how things are going this year. I'm gonna work on picking out the best pics because I would rather not dump them all here all at once and be that guy. Its been An unexpectedly exciting season.
I am beyond stoked because while spending significantly less time hunting. I have possibly my coolest/most abnormal/weirdest find and also separately my biggest find. Probably for the rest of my life, or at least I cant reasonably expect to ever find anything bigger. And its only the beginning. You people will see soon
.
wolfred if you see this hey, I think youd make a good politician just sayin. anyways Ive got nothing but love for you and I dig your baeo finds, for real.
You must have been projecting your own feelings onto me or something. or there is the slim possibility that I was the one projecting. I really don't care how you live your life or what you belive (whether correct or not) heres just a warning that you might not like some of the pictures im gonna post.Oh and Im a man of my word Ill document myself flushing the jar of last season stuntzii down the shitter, Butt(lol) I must say that they came from walmart where they spray their woodchips so im sketched to eat them anyways, IM not actually that insane really in most aspects

Thank you so much nmr2t!! Holy shit that is helpful. There are plenty of habitats like those around here, ill have to get looking!
I love this time of year! I usually hate time management, but something about planning hunts and figuring out when to go back and pick your spots, etc. is just so satisfying
Oh and hey John if you want you can flush em down MY shitter, if you know what I'm sayin

Well I know what Im doing tomorrow. Crazy how much these look like mycena, atleast on my computer screen they do.
your amazing pictures have got me wondering if I have overlooked them before given the amount of time ive spent in clear cuts just like these searching getting distracted by the weird stuff on logging roads and being too impatient. Or I realize I am lost as the sun is setting then my priorities shift. I will be pateint and bring these photos with me tomorrow if its not shitty out.
You make it look so easy.

These are azzies, eh?? Allenii would be more rounded when young and less pointy on the cap when matured? Have only found allenii once, so I'm not too familiar.
Asking because last year I had 2 containers, 1 with colonized allenii chips, the other with colonized azure chips that I started from a couple of butts. Problem is my labels weathered off of the containers and I didn't know which was which when it came time to place them in the earth
So when I buried them outside I did it in 2 different places and was going to see what popped up where. Just wanted to verify!
