What would be a legal comparison for growing Jamaican Pans?

I used to grow weed for years and if the grow shops ever asked, I said I was growing tomatoes. But they never did.
I would like to speak with bulk substrate sellers and such about the best substrates they have for Jamaican Pans, but I probably cannot mention that this is my end goal.
What would be a legal comparison for Jamaican Pans so that I can chat with someone about this?

Sorry, did not know there was legal forms of Pans. Figured that they were kinda like cubensis. Which I am assuming there is no legal form of cubensis? Thanks for the help

What you're asking is if there are legal mushrooms that grow on the same substrate as pans, yes? There are currently no legal psychedelic mushrooms so the best analog would be gourmet. Agaricus bisporus are common button mushrooms that grow on composted manure, so these would be a good start, portabellos as well...which are the same thing.

Since there are so many of species of mushrooms, my fear is getting on the phone with a substrate supplier and them asking what species I am looking to grow and my only response is Pans or uuuuuuggggghhhhh. Thanks for the info.

This isn't a scenario that you need to worry about, don't call people for horse shit or coir. If you're growing pans go collect some field aged manure, tell them that you grow portabellos. If you grow cubes just go to the pet store for coir and don't say anything

You can order all of this stuff online without talking to anyone about anything. It isn't illegal to ship or receive substrate afaik. If you mean REAL bulk, just lookup what you need a find a supplier in your area. They don't have to know what you are doing with it for any reason, and they probably don't care.
