First time grower. Fruiting chamber questions.

This is my first time growing so I got a kit, it comes with a pretty complete guide but some of the info is a pretty different than what I've read online, and I want to make sure everything is going alright.
When I took my cakes out of their jars I noticed that they didn't colonize the top surface of the cakes (I think I had them too hot early on.) But they had been colonizing for almost 5 weeks, they looked pretty dry, and some of the pins in the jars were getting really big. I dunked with the pins, I read that if they survive dunking that they can grow really big. They finished dunking yesterday, I covered them with vermiculite and put them into the fruiting chamber. They were in there overnight and this morning I noticed they had a little white fuzz growing on them. I read some posts on here and it seems like this is a good thing but the cakes might need more FAE. The kit I got recommended "shotgun style" so I did that, 6 holes on the two ends of the chamber about an inch from the top. Is that enough FAE or should I also be fanning a couple times a day? I keep my room pretty cold, 68 degrees F, so I have a heating pad under my fruiting chamber and a towel across the top to try and keep the heat in, right now its at about 73 degrees F, and the dinky hydrometer that came with the kit says its 99% humidity in there. Is this too cool?
Thanks for reading this long ass post, I've attached some pictures, anything to calm my worries would be very appreciated!

Definitely needs way more holes, all over top and bottom and sides and everything. Take the towel off and let all those holes breath. And after misting fan it out like 10 or 20 seconds at a time till theres no visible moisture left on the pins. RR does say you can dunk pins and they will grow, but I have never seen doing it on the first dunk and rolling the verm into the pins... But that's what you got so see what happens! Don't worry as much about a few degrees temp as FAE here.

oh okay :P. Well, I cant really drill more holes on the bottom or the sides now. Ill do that after hopefully a first harvest. The cakes that had pins on them I didn't roll, I just dipped the two ends and sprinkled verm on the sides. So far they look like they are perking up. Thanks!
Edit: Fruiting chamber sits around 70 degrees F without the towel.

Well if you cant drill more holes don't get your hopes up... Open up the top and fan it as much as you can while keeping the humidity up

No you’re probably right, just don’t know why the kit would give a method that wouldn’t work well. I’ll try to take everything out and drill more holes. :P Thanks again!
