ID request

I found these mushies very close to my serbica path. Mixed forest, at around 600m, growing in two big groups, 50+ specimens. The gills were a bit pink, not quite visible in the pics. The stem was very variate: Some specimens had a longish, narrow and somewhat curved stem, other specimens had a short fat stem.

Looks Clitocyboid. Any chance you can get a spore print?

Compare it to Lepista irina.

I thought Hebeloma cf. sinapizans, a spore print would help.

Spore print is white, so it can't be Hebeloma. I was thinking Hygrophorus poetarum / pudorinus.

That agrees with the orange staining on the stem and the Lepista print would be off white.

A description of the smell would probably have settled it even without a print.

I concur with Falcon, looks like Lepista irina.

Beautiful photos, too.

Thanks Angler
Smell is pleasant, somewhat like flowers. Taste also pleasant, but not distinctive.
After further inspection, I conclude it's Hygrophorus poetarum. Relevant things I didn't mention, or recently figured out, that confirm H.p.:
  • Found in mixed forest, but predominantly beech
  • White spore print, not pink, orange nor yellow
  • Cap is slimy if I put water on it
  • Gills from adnate to decurrent, wide and spaced(unlike Lepista irina)
  • Flesh orange-pink under the cap

Clever try. Who doesn't want these beautiful big white mushrooms ?! Won't work I'm afraid, but could trick the mods mayhaps.

Also lol at thread, asks for id, ignores everyone, then IDs his own mushrooms
