OK. I am not sure what this is growing near my home on a dead bark. Can someone please help me out. This thing grew fast and idk what it is. I'd appreciate the help. Thanks

Well, they're not actives, that's for sure. They might be Oyster mushrooms, but I'm not really sure about that. Wait and see what ToxicMan says, he knows his oysters. Meanwhile, please provide us with the information we need. Take a look at the Forum Rules and Guidelines post for this info.

Those are certainly interesting specimens.

Are those rings on the stalks? The top two specimens in the first photo look as though there is a distinct ring on the stem.

It is also important to know the shap of the edge of the gills. Is it straight like most mushrooms or do they look serrated or shredded?
