Some cyans fruiting directly off a log. Not something you see very often. Hoping next weeks sees new flushes after this rain.

Hope it's not too late for this rain to initiate pinning on spots that have been too dry to get going this season

I was still seeing pins as well as the immature mushrooms. The pics in my last post are from yesterday. Due for 3 days of dryer weather then more rain.
Im in south sound of wa and it doesn't look like the season is done yet.

Patch I've been harvesting mature ones from since beginning of october keeps sending up tons of new pins but they're like stuck in development... plenty of, cover, not too cold, and they're not unhealthy looking but they're not getting bigger fast or maturing very fast still. Maybe running out of substrate/fuel?
Further down the path though, the late bloomer patch that had all the cyan rotted sludge 2 years back, which didn't fruit much at all last year, is flourishing now, growing very quickly. Also some of the most brilliantly orange cyans I've found, very aesthetically pleasing bunch.

Its official ... team Baeo takes the cup this season ending team Stuntzii's domination of the league for the past 2 seasons. Citizens of Baeo City are ecstatic and rejoice as the Blue Bombers bring it on home.

Seattle Cyans

Federal Way cyans

These allenii?? Definitely active Not like ovoids I’ve found in either fall or spring. Super fat caps and chunky stems on these guys

The last one is cyans, damn it I thought I had better shots. There was a cluster of 5 or so. Hopefully my partner does.

I found some wild cyanescens in years past in farmland along the river. There was no suggestion it was man made habitat. Today I am going to search the river delta. Maybe we have wild cyanescens like the coast. Maybe I am wasting my time. Anybody have any luck in marsh land in puget sound?

The pics on the left and right are of the same somewhat decent sized patch. The one in the middle is a small patch I found on the side of a building, right by a sidewalk. They are out there.. Still hunting for the motherload!

Nice finds, you guys.
I had a lovely walkabout this morning myself. Some new patches, most of them in deep grass or under various lush ground cover.
First, some gnarly looking Ovoids

A few steps away in deep grass

These were scattered and well-hidden. Gotta love the ground cover.

Further down the trail

The Amanitas have seemed extra stunning to me this year

I went for a small hunt after work to hunt some Cyanescens at my local patch I check up on and I was in luck, and then afterwards I went up to hunt Pelliculosa at nightfall and had some decent luck in the dark wondering around with my flashlight.
Psilocybe Cyanescens

Psilocybe Pelliculosa

26.6g collected

Gonna bioassay what I collected tonight with a Pelli Tea and experience Psilocybe Pelliculosa for the first time, I figured 26.6g fresh should about 2.66g dry, enough for nice trip I think.
