Any Id Help would be appreciated.
Habitat: Delaware Found in a stump hole in the area of a deciduous forest. They were next to a horse stable.
Gills: Yellow, waiting on spore prints presently.
Stem: The stems are not hollow. They are bulbous at the base and thinner toward the caps. Ring on the stripe. The color lightly ranges from yellow to reddish in vertical patterns up the stripe.
Cap: Large caps are up to 3" in diameter. They are convex to flat I believe.
Spore print color: Still Waiting
Bruising: It's bruising brown to a chestnut red color.
Other information: They are odorous. Not sure how to exactly describe the smell.
I have attached photos of said mushrooms here.

Oh, Delaware. Looks like Gymnopilus subspectabilis, were brown-capped ones all clustered together with that first more orangey one?

The first orangy one was separated from the cluster by 2` max. It had another guy with it. I have attached photos of it.

Thank You! I had 120g and it all went into a tea. It was a great experience. If you want to check out the trip report I figured I'd write one up since the web is lacking info on dosages.

Thanks for sharing! Given the season and the new paper on gym species, I've been keeping my eyes out for good gyms. I'm pretty sure I've got two journeys on deck, including one of about 125g in subspectabilis pins that were sooooo fresh.
Your report was really nice to see. I've only consumed subspectabilis once before, 150g or so, 100g of it that from one mega fruit that was in that kind of bow-tie shape like your first pic. Honestly, it was half the experience you seemed to have had!

I was surprised based on the zero effects from the 10g. I’d like to find some more before the season is gone😃

Yeah, a lot of the most experienced folks talk about the potency of these guys being all over the map, even more than other species.
I think with this rain and continued warm weather, there's a good chance we will see more soon.

I hear the potency can really range in these. This is why I tested 10g.

I've gotten threshold effects to just around lvl. 1 with 15g fresh.
So yeah, they can really vary.

https://www.shroomery.org/6255/Trip-Reports
As per that page: "Level 1 - This level produces a mild "stoning" effect, with some visual enhancement (i.e. brighter colours, etcetera). Some short term memory anomalies. Left/right brain communication changes causing music to sound "wider".
"Level 2 - Bright colors, and visuals (i.e. things start to move and breathe), some 2 dimensional patterns become apparent upon shutting eyes. Confused or reminiscent thoughts. Change of short term memory leads to continual distractive thought patterns. Vast increase in creativity becomes apparent as the natural brain filter is bypassed."
So if you choose to go by that, I've definitely gotten somewhere in the realm of a 1.5 off of 15g of fresh; had an enjoyable body high, some laughing fits, and pretty vivid CEVs.
However, I guess there's a pretty big caveat in my specific case, in that I've always been particularly sensitive to psychedelics in general. I usually have to dose lighter than many folks, with anything. But it could also be that the ones I found at the time were particularly potent for whatever reason. I know I've read accounts of people eating tons of the things and not getting anything out of them.
Just one more reason to always test your (properly id'd) finds.

Nice thanks for the link and information. I spent some time looking for it but gave up as I’m not the best with these search tools.

Was potency related to anything obvious like degree of bluing or size of the fruits?

There was no blue bruising as these were sub spectabilis. From the research I've done there is generally no blue bruising on these.
The blueing seems to happen on the Luteus more so. When I found Luteus in the past they went blue and green immediately after being touched.
I was advised to consume 150g of the sub spectabilis. I researched and found that potency really varies on this species from region to region. Where I'm located they tend to be active and mildly potent. So 150g made sense to me as I have a lot of experience with psychs.
I tested 10g just to be sure though. That is key I believe. If you have enough to test your gyms prior to full rec dosages I say do it. Do everything you can think of to keep yourself safe.
