You'd have better luck in the Mushroom Identification thread. This is the drugs/mushroom news forum. It's an easy mistake to make. For a good mushroom ID, get a spore print and get some snapshots of the underside of the cap, the gills and stem.

You'd probably have to eat quite a bit due to surface area of the fruit compared to the amount of psychoactive substance; but, then again, maybe not. Mushrooms are funny like that and you never want to eat one unless you have an A-Plus positive identification and the only ways to do that are to have a clear, concise, up-to-date field guide (actually, it never hurts to have a couple), take good quality, clear pictures of the caps, stems, gills, spore prints, and area found, and come up with a clear, concise description of the mushrooms. The other alternative is to grow your own. Happy hunting!

Naw, I get it. A newcomer to this site gets a little turned around and makes a post in the wrong forum. It happened to me a time or two when I started out. I just hope the guy is able to find some assistance. Me, I'm still a neophyte in the shrooming game, but I know my way around this place a little bit and I like to help people get their bearings. It's an alright place if you don't take too many dark alleys, know what I mean?
