Is this agar plate stalling out on me or just growing very slowly

This is a clone I have been working on and i feel like it is stalling out on me, the edge of the myc circle is puffed up I don’t see any yellow bacteria. Should I. Just go ahead and make a transfer?

I think if it's stalling then it could be invisible contamination around the edge. I would transfer just before the edge to get a clean culture.

Nothing about that looks like the myc we hope to grow. What in the world is going on in there.

How long has that chunk been chilling?
Agar looks dry or hard, with weirdness like a dry film across it.

Some puffing up from the chunk of clone is to be expected the first day or so, then start to race outward.

If it's been longer then a week, I'd scrub that jar.

The temperature had been getting in the 40s during the night for a couple weeks I’m not sure if that would cause something like that, not sure how I cold it got in the closet I was storing them in

I don't know if it's the angle/lighting, but to me it looks like there is some obvious mold growing on the agar, encircling the myc in the center. That's why it's stalled.

It's not the lighting or angle. That plate is a pile of fuck knuckles. I don't know what it is but i know what it's not.
