!Please Help! (Fruiting advice for my last shot grow)
    #27025312 - 11/06/20 03:58 PM (3 years, 2 months ago)

So I have never had a system that actually works all the time. On rare occasions fruiting has stalled and, when using a casing layer, fruited amazingly well.
Other times casing layers have completely destroyed Everything. There are always so many variables that, when you don't consistently work under the same conditions, it's kinda hard to remember/have confidence.

To the point...  I've attached some pictures below. The first 3 are a Mazatapec bin. Top/side/bottom.

The 4th is an amazonian made the same way

The 5th is a Mazatapec made with the coir/verm/gyp bucket Tek recipe.
***I posted this mainly to show the stark difference in growth***

The reason I mentioned what I did initially us because every now and then bins just colonize differently.

Aside from the 5th photo, the substrate was a mix of compost, coir, verm, straw, and gypsum that was baked Inside turkey trays at 175 for 3 hours.

It has been 6 days for all the bins shown.

I would like any input/advice that anyone feels is neccesary, but my main issue is the fact that they look so different from bins I see online.

To me,they look incredibly healthy...but I have had bins look this nice and fail before. Usually the valleys in between the white knots are weaker/thinner...maybe they get too wet..and then they darken, almost as if there isn't Mycelium present.

This is also the first time I have used clear liner and I have never seen the growth underneath before. I was wondering if it's normal for the bottom to look as u colonized as it is.

The MOST IMPORTANT goal here is to get advice on how and when to fruit. I have had, mostly, bad contamination anytime I have cased and and want to avoid doing so.

I also know it has been only 6 days, but I'm not sure if/when the Mycelium is going to become denser...and that it's possible the humidity is too high right now.
All I know is that contamination has formed in the past because I decided to let them consolidate. I'm just not sure if the growth is as dense as it should be,but have no idea how to change that.

If this post seems confusing/pointless, that's because I have everything riding on these and can't afford failure like I have in the past. I want to make ABSOLUTELY sure that I do everything right.  I am making 5 more bins today with the same "materials",but if I don't have success before the end of the month things will be very bad for me.

So,any and all notes/feedback is appreciated. I won't be doing anything until I feel more confident.

Thank you in advance.

Well I guess I'll just give it my best shot. I shouldn't be all that worried,it's just incredibly important/no room for failure this time
