Hi guys,
I just got back from the first Psilocybe serbica hunt of this season and my trusted spot didn't disappoint. I left plenty of them behind since I don't really need much more than this for my needs and some of them weren't in the best shape anymore.
I thought you might enjoy these pictures:

Psilocybe serbica is a European mushroom. These were found in Central Europe.

Really great! Are they all grow out of dead wood? What is elevation and day/night temps at that place? I still have to get back to the place where I found that one weird single specimen.

For some reason I thought you live in the US and you must have been gifted with a culture or print.

Yes, they all grow out of dead, decaying branches and twigs in a deciduous forest. Altitude is around 350-400m above sea level. Temperatures lately have been around 11-15C during the day and 7-9C during the night. But they will continue to grow even after temperatures drop to 4-6C during the day and -2 - 0C during night. They don't mind a bit of light frost. In fact, last year I found the biggest load at the very end of November. So the season will continue for the next few weeks here.
I hope that you will go back to that place soon. I'm really curious if you really found P. Serbica in Bulgaria. That would be pretty cool.

Nah, I hunt for these in the woods here in Central Europe. Unlike some species like p. cyanescens, these mushrooms can be only found in the wild. I found a whole section of a forest that's littered with them. It's a lot of fun to pick actives in a forest and you don't have to worry about other people which is nice too.
