What to do if your Mason Jar is stuck in the PC?
    #27022110 - 11/04/20 06:55 PM (3 years, 2 months ago)

Hey everyone.
I'm new to this site so IDK if this is the correct place to post this question. But My Mason Jar is stuck like hell in my PC while I was making Grain Spawn and I can't get it out! What would you do or has this happened to anyone else? I have a 23QT PC, and put 6 Qt jars and one pint in the bottom rack so they wouldn't move around and break during PCing or maybe tip over. As you can see in the photo. The pint jar is stuck like hell. I was thinking I might have to break it to get it out. Cause I really tried to wobble it and move it around so it would budge but I guess the pressure during PCing really shoved it down there. This is the 3rd time making grain spawn and I have never had this issue before and I did it the same way last time as well. I even put some damn lubricant on where the jars touch and it still won't budge.

They're all stuck?

Maybe wiggle it while you pull it up? Or tap it with a rubber mallet while you lift? As long as the water isn’t over half of the bottom jars they should stay in place fine

Worst case scenario I’d just carefully bust the pint with a hammer
