Thank you! I suspected it was an oyster.

I'm intrigued by this D. confragosa. The literature I've read (wikipedia and Lincoff's North American ID book) say that this species tends to have brown pigmentation, which is not present here. Also, it states that the pores bruise pink when roughly handled but I have tried to bruise it and I haven't seen any color change.

Any thoughts?
